Most love stories are about people who fall in love with each other. But what about the rest of us? What about our stories, those of us who fall in love alone? We are the victims of the one sided affair. We are the cursed of the loved ones. We are the unloved ones, the walking wounded. The handicapped without the advantage of a great parking space! Yes, you are looking at one such individual.
Iris (The Holiday): I understand feeling as small and as insignificant as humanly possible. And how it can actually ache in places you didn't know you had inside you. And it doesn't matter how many new haircuts you get, or gyms you join, or how many glasses of chardonnay you drink with your girlfriends... you still go to bed every night going over every detail and wonder what you did wrong or how you could have misunderstood. I love the lyrics to Fix You by Coldplay :) Actually, all their songs are very touching. I still like crazy songs like electros and techno, hiphop and big beats, but in the long run, I think I'd be more likely to stick with Bossa Nova, Indies, and Drum and Bass :) I don't know. I've kinda learned to kind of listen to their lyrics from the Beatles.

it took me a year to learn who i was, a month to get myself busy, a week to fall in "love", a day to realize everything was too late yet early, an hour to see how dull my life has become, a minute to understand how meaningless empty knowing what a fling was, and a second to accept all these facts.

everything's no longer obscure though. i understand he is and has been just a friend, at least to him. all this time i was in denial, i guess. all these conversations we've had so far that i thought were special were special to him as well but just in a friendly "you're awesome baby" way. the kisses and hugs meant nothing but "oh let's enjoy the moment". the hope that i had for the "next time" has been broken down into pieces but i finally realized what my problem was.

i need the truth: truth about love, truth about life, truth about myself, truth about this world, and truth about what right before my eyes. i guess after all, i was living a "carpe diem" life in the summer as i wanted.

i despise people without subjectivity.
it leads to endlessly mimicking, and ultimately losing your own identity. i'm frankly so sick of people changing their interests and mind abruptly just for the surrounding others. depending and relying on others, living your life for the others that they don't even want..it's immature, it's sad, but i have no one but these people around me. they're empty, useless, foolish, and unfortunate..

Happiness does not exist. It just lies in your imagination. At times you feel you are happy because of certain events or people. When you laugh, you might feel happy for a bit but that's obviously temporary. Feeling content momentarily or laughing continuously does not mean you are happy. If you think you are happy - maybe because you are at the moment - I believe that's illusion. In the book, Hector’s Voyage or the Search for Happiness, Francois Lelord says that you feel unhappy when you compare yourself to the others. I look back at what I did in the past, I guess until now I've always thought I was the happiest when I was younger, when I was in this place, when I was with that person. But the truth is, it's just an illusion. There's no such thing as a true happiness. You think about the future, your imagination of yourself being famous or successful or what not might make you happy but it's just an illusion. Even if you reach that goal, you won't be happy. Hermann Hesse says through Siddartha that in order to attain nirvana, you need an experience - the struggle or pursuit to attain happiness. I guess I need that struggle to grow up, but today really, I wondered if happiness, that illusion, ever existed in my life. I think I've completely wasted all my life and time that was given, with worthless, shitless things. I felt like I've been emotion-less for the longest time. I've been killing myself, my life, and the others.

When people go forward, I like to go backwards to pick up little pieces of memories. On the way to the reality, it becomes a mishmash, and I end up regretting every moment I spent with the shitless bunch. It takes about a day to go from being in a heaven, thinking about the great memories I had in the past, to going into what's called the slumping phase, depressed about the things I could have done or things I can't do at the moment. That's me and who I am. I value the littlest things that people left in the corner of the street, what they threw away. I get hurt by the way I think, I feel loved by the blank stares. But I've learned to surround myself with the people who can embrace even the weirdest, most vulnerable part of me. I keep on searching and waiting..
